It’s not that I’m offended or anything (I’m from that country btw), but I find it extremely hilarious that after more than 80 years that English language speakers are still finding enormously funny that the name of a country means the name of an animal. I mean, get over it. “We ate Turkey ahaha”. Really? I’m sure it’s funny when you first learn about it around the age of six or seven (I admit that it’s interesting, but after 15-20 years or so, the joke must get old. But apparently it doesn’t. And I don’t really mind, but still wanted it to get it of my chest :) laureola: ianbroyles: Pass me a slice of Istanbul, please.
